Nominees: 2017 DGA Awards

The Directors Guild of America always provides a decent set of parameters to base Oscar predictions, and following the announcement of their nominees there may be an adjustment or two among us experts.

The biggest surprise was no Scorsese. Instead Garth Davis received his first nomination for Lion. The other nominees were expected – Chazelle, Jenkins and Lonergan among them.
