International Posters For Independence Day: Resurgence
Well, Jeff Goldblum (recently confirmed for Thor: Ragnarok) did forewarn us about those pesky aliens and their fondness for attacking the landmarks.
So it’s to little surprise that the latest batch of posters for Roland Emmerich’s (2012/The Day After Tomorrow) big-budget sequel Independence Day: Resurgence, provide plenty of destruction.
A sequel 20 years in the making after the 1996 original starring Will Smith, whilst the likes of Bill Pullman’s (American Ultra) President Whitmore return, we will soon be properly introduced to various new additions including Maika Monroe (It Follows) and Liam Hemsworth (The Hunger Games).
The film is released across the UK on Thursday 23rd June 2016.
‘We always knew they were coming back. After ‘Independence Day’ redefined the event movie genre, the next epic chapter delivers global spectacle on an unimaginable scale. Using recovered alien technology, the nations of Earth have collaborated on an immense defense program to protect the planet. But nothing can prepare us for the aliens’ advanced and unprecedented force. Only the ingenuity of a few brave men and women can bring our world back from the brink of extinction.’
