Chastain Headlines First ‘The Life And Death Of John F. Donovan’ Poster
Acquiring the fine talents of Marion Cotillard, Lea Seydoux and Vincent Cassel for It’s Only The End Of The World, based on the Jean Luc Lagarce play which was released earlier this year.
Director Xavier Dolan (Mommy) looks like he’s attracted his most star-studded ensemble to date, for his seventh big-screen effort at the tender age of 28, The Life And Death Of John F.Donovan.
Boasting the likes of Natalie Portman (Song To Song), Jacob Tremblay (The Book Of Henry), Kit Harington (Game Of Thrones), Susan Sarandon (Thelma And Louise) and Kathy Bates (Misery), yet it’s the the ruthless redhead in Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty) who graces the beautiful first poster for the film.
Teasing on his Twitter account that her character Moira McCalister-King is ‘up to no good’ as he unveiled the one-sheet, we’re rather intrigued to see the role she plays in its ‘death of an American TV star’ narrative.
Judging Dolan’s impressive track record. We at MM eagerly await official details of its UK release..
