Avengers: Endgame Domain Name Bought Up, Hilariously Redirects To Deadpool

Okay, hats off to Fox, that’s pretty good.

In a genius bit of marketing, the studio has bought up the domain name avengersendgame.com, and set it to redirect to a webpage featuring the trailer for the forthcoming holiday-themed rerelease Once Upon a Deadpool.

It’s somewhat baffling that Disney and Marvel Studios didn’t have the foresight to purchase the domain for one of their most highly-anticipated movies of 2019, Avengers: Endgame (the trailer for which just broke the record for trailer views in 24 hours, with a whopping 239 million), but their mistake is Fox’s hilarious gain.

Deadpool 2 is out now on Digital, DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K.
