Anchorman Exhibition Opens at DC’s Newseum!
Ron Burgundy – star of widely loved Anchorman – has had a new exhibition opened in his honour at Washington DC’s Newseum.
The exhibiton showcases props from the movie as well as costumes including the ones worn by the Channel 4 news team. Props include his jazz flute and the whip used by Arturo Mendez during the movie’s fight scene.
Visitors also get the opportunity to join Ron Burgundy in their own TV spot. The 2004 film starred Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, Paul Rudd and Steve Carell.
The Newseum is a 250,000 square foot venue which explores the history of news and allows visitors to go behind the scenes.
The sequel to Anchorman – Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues – will be released on December 20, and the exhibit will run until August 31 2014.
