Carrie remake delayed

According to Shock Till You Drop, the much anticipated Carrie remake has been moved from it’s original March 15 release to October 18. Unsurprisingly, Kimberly Peirce’s update will be released just in time for Halloween but it will have some tough competition due to “Paranormal Activity 5” hitting cinemas on October 25. 

Chloe Grace Moretz stars as the telekinetic title character, which was originally played by Sissy Spacek, and Julianne Moore will appear as her mother.

Moretz has stated the film will be darker and much more psychological. Let’s hope its worth the wait.
