Debut Trailer For Sean Baker’s ‘The Florida Project’
He provided us with the cinematic dream that was ‘Tangerine’ back in 2015, shot entirely on an I Phone as it followed a black transgender sex worker fresh out of jail.
Now director Sean Baker is back with ‘The Florida Project’ with its beautiful first trailer a firm indicator of why it charmed the masses at Cannes back in May. With its striking colour scheme and framing likely to fuel comparisons with Wes Anderson and Richard Linklater, we are given an insight into the relationship between Willem Defoe’s Bobby and newcomer Brooklynn Prince’s Moonee.
Backed by A24, the film is released on 12th January 2018.
