Derby Film Festival – 2016 Line-Up
Ready to enter its third year, it’s a thrill for us at Movie Marker to help spread the word about this year’s impressive line-up at the Derby Film Festival.
Running from Friday 29th April to Sunday 8th May, the festival is set to embrace the ‘journey’ theme, as it showcases an eclectic range of cinematic delights from around the world whilst highlighting the worthy contributions of various talents evident in a range of fantastical genres.

With events taking place predominantly at the creative hub QUAD including an In Conversation session with Four Weddings and A Funeral and A Room With A View screen veteran Simon Callow, whilst branching out into the Derby Museum and Cathedral, the latter providing a fitting theatricality to a live music screening of 1923 classic The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, below we highlight our personal day-to-day favourites from this year’s programme.
