‘Division’ Sets March 7 Release Date
Random Media is releasing the controversial and culturally relevant drama that echoes the current political division in the US feature film ‘Division’, starring Jaime Andrews, Joshua Drew Payne, Curt Bonnem, David Lee Garver, K.D. O’Hair on March 7th, 2023.
Directed by Jason Winn, ‘Division’ is set in the fall of 2020, where small-time actress Andi James has moved to Atlanta with her inattentive fiancé, Zach, and starts vlogging while stuck inside during the pandemic. In doing so, she connects more deeply with her fan, Mason – an injured veteran and musician – and is tempted by his attentions and the universe’s signs that this could be fate. With a mother who just wants her to have a baby, a friend (Delaney) who fans the flames of her desire, and a neighbor (Aya) who confirms just how out of place she is in her new neighborhood, Andi challenges the boundaries of her relationship and her place in the world. But – as the 2020 election approaches – Andi grows increasingly horrified by the machinations of the Trump regime, unaware that Mason is not only his follower, but is willing to go to great lengths to keep him in power, under the tutelage of his friend and mentor, Mark. When Andi and Mason’s inevitable confrontation goes viral, it leads to consequences for them both which ripple far beyond her quiet southern street.
Jaime Andrews wrote ‘Division’ and executive produced alongside Justin M. Ward, Jason Winn, and David Lee Garver who served as producers. The movie picked up several 2022 Lady Filmmaker Awards.
