Emotionally Charged Trailer For Carell/Chalamet Drama ‘Beautiful Boy’ Debuts
It’s been a hell of a year for Timothee Chalamet, leaving lasting impressions on many a cinemagoer with his impressive turns in Luca Guadagnino’s ‘Call Me By Your Name’ and Greta Gerwig’s ‘Lady Bird’.
Judging the first footage from Felix Van Groeningen’s ‘Beautiful Boy’, he’s not quite done breaking hearts yet as his character struggles to overcome a drug addiction with Steve Carell who has recently excelled in more dramatic territory, as the doting dad on hand for support.
The film is based on the best-selling memoirs of father/son David/Nic Sheff and also stars Maura Tierney and Amy Ryan. We already suspect this will be in awards contention…
‘Beautiful Boy’ debuts in UK cinemas in January 2019.
