Fifty Shades of Grey Role for Rita Ora

Rita Ora has landed herself a role in the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation.

The film will be based on E.L James’ best-selling erotic novel which has sold more than 70 million copies worldwide and is the fastest-selling paperback of all time.

Ora, 23, will play the sister of the male star, Christian Grey, played by Jamie Dornan. She revealed the exciting news via Twitter: “It’s official! I’ve been cast in Fifty Shades of Grey as Christian’s sister Mia.”

The film will be directed by film maker Sam Taylor-Johnson – Aaron Johnson’s (Kick-Ass) other half. Shooting began in Vancouver in Canada on Sunday and is set for release on Valentine’s Day weekend in 2015.
