First Trailer For Sundance London-Bound ‘The Big Sick’
Already charming audiences at the US stint of the festival in Utah back in January, next month will see Amazon Studios’ The Big Sick grace Sundance London (1st-4th June), taking place at Picturehouse Central.
Boasting Silicon Valley star Kumail Nanjiani and What If/Ruby Sparks acrtress Zoe Kazan, it focuses on their blossoming relationship as Nanjiani’s character wrestles with the desire to defy the strict Pakistani ‘arranged marriage’ traditions.
Complete with razor-sharp one-liners about terrorists, Uber and The X-Files, bolstered by great support from Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond) and Holly Hunter (Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice), The Big Sick may just help to cure a flagging genre in the rom-com.
The film officially hits UK cinemas on 28th July 2017.
