Friday The 13th Production Shut Down
Today Paramount decided to cancel its reboot of the Friday The 13th franchise.
The production had been in development for several years and after many false starts the studio put a director, Breck Eisner, on the project.
However, weeks before shooting the movie has been shut down with no official reason given.
One source told The Hollywood Reporter that the film was simply not ready.
The reboot was due for release 17 October.
We shall wait to see if the franchise returns.
