Latest ‘Mile 22’ Featurette Introduces You To Iko Uwais

He is the bad-ass Indonesian star who supplied us with plenty of brutal brilliance in Gareth Evans’ The Raid films. Now Iko Uwais is set to be brought to the masses later this month in ‘Mile 22’, the latest collaboration between Lone Survivor director Peter Berg and leading man Mark Wahlberg.

In this new featurette released by STX Entertainment ahead of the film’s 17th August release in the UK. We get a proper sense of his all-action artistry as we’re led through some blistering fight choreography, with Berg ‘mesmerised’ by the soul and texture Uwais brings to such hard-hitting sequences, whilst actress Lauren Cohen declares him ‘the next generation of Jackie Chan’.
