Latest Posters For Idris Elba’s Directorial Debut ‘Yardie’
Not long removed from making his presence felt at the London leg of the Sundance Film Festival.
Beasts Of No Nation and Star Trek Beyond star Idris Elba has today unveiled a striking quad of new posters for his first directorial effort ‘Yardie’, which promises to be a gripping big-screen adaptation of the 1993 crime novel written by Victor Headley.
Featuring its stars Aml Ameen, Shantol Jackson and Stephen Graham, the film divides its narrative between 1970’s Kingston and 1980’s Hackney as D (Ameen) looks to rebuild his life after the murder of his brother.
The film arrives in UK cinemas on 24th August 2018.
