Matt Reeves Will Not Direct The Batman

After actor Ben Affleck announced that he has stepped down from the director’s chair on The Batman, although he will still be playing the caped crusader, Matt Reeves has now turned down the offer from Warner Bros. to take on the film.

According to sources the studio offered the Reeves the role after his work on Cloverfield and Let Me In.

With Reeves’ decision the hunt is still on to find a director for the comic book film.
