Michael Clarke Duncan dies, aged 54.
Michael Clarke Duncan has died following a heart attack. The Oscar-nominated star of The Green Mile suffered a heart attacked in July and has since been hospitalised, sadly his fiancée, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth, announced the actor’s passing yesterday.
Since the news broke tributes have poured in from numerous stars via the web. Michael’s Green Mile co-star Tom Hanks released a touching message. He said “I am terribly saddened at the loss of Big Mike. He was the treasure we all discovered on the set of The Green Mile. He was magic. He was a big love of man and his passing leaves us stunned.”.
Although best known for his role in The Green Mile, Michael has also starred in blockbusters Sin City, Armageddon, Planet of the Apes, Daredevil and was the voice of Commander Vachir in Kung Fu Panda.
