10 years ago. It was the stealthy found-footage approach of Matt Reeves’ Cloverfield. 2016, we had Mary Elizabeth Winstead suddenly looking to escape the shelter built by a career-best John Goodman in ’10 Cloverfield Lane’.

Yet producer J.J Abrams has truly outdone himself in the secrecy stakes with this one. Netflix have just unleashed a trailer out of nowhere for ‘The Cloverfield Paradox’, seemingly an origin story for this series.
