New Featurette/Character Posters For Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Since April where we were finally treated to our first look at Rian Johnson’s (Looper) Episode VIII, we’ve seen awfully little of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, with a marketing strategy that certainly served J.J Abrams ‘The Force Awakens’ well.

Now July and exactly five months away from its December 15th release, this new featurette for the latest installment goes behind the scenes as John Boyega voices his dismay about director Rian’s wookie sounds, Daisy Ridley declaring that the story is ‘unexpected but right’, reinforced by a wrong-footed Mark Hamill stating that ‘they are throwing things at him story-wise’ he could never have imagined.

We’re also treated to a whole host of wondrous new creatures and additions, most notably Laura Dern sporting purple hair and Benicio Del Toro, topped off by a sweet embrace between Oscar Isaac and the late great Carrie Fisher that will likely melt your heart.

Along with this awesome footage, characters Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron and General Leia are all prominent figures on the film’s new drenched-in-red posters, which you can also check out below.
