Official Trailer For Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk
‘When 400,000 men couldn’t get home, home came for them.’
After various teases across the week, today Warner Bros Pictures have unveiled the brand new trailer for Dunkirk, directed by Interstellar and The Dark Knight Trilogy’s Christopher Nolan and it makes for impactful viewing as we’re immersed in the tragic World War II battle.
Retaining the heart-pounding tick-tock sound that has anchored its previous footage, we’re provided with startling imagery as the sheer scale of the unfolding warfare is driven home, epitomised by the intense battles in the air (Tom Hardy’s Farrier leading the charge) and at sea as the concern of Kenneth Branagh (director of this year’s Murder On The Orient Express) is etched across his face.
Also starring Harry Styles of One Direction fame, James D’Arcy (Cloud Atlas), Mark Rylance (Bridge Of Spies) and Cillian Murphy (Anthropoid), this is shaping up to be another Summer stunner from Nolan.
Dunkirk is in cinemas from 21st July 2017.
