PGA Award Nominations
The Producers Guild of America recently announced the nominees for their upcoming annual awards. Their is a considerable overlap between PGA members and Academy members in the producers guild, and as such their is a strong symmetry between the winners of both. The last six years have been identical, so the winners, announced on January 19th, will be a big indicator of the Oscar favorites, though we all know it’s 12 Years a Slave.
Indeed the Solomon Northup biopic is among the nominees along with Gravity and American Hustle as well as the possible surprise inclusion of Saving Mr. Banks over films such as Inside Llewyn Davis. The unpredictability of the lesser favorites will make predicting the Oscar nominations very tough indeed.
Below are all the motion picture nominees. The full list including television categories is available here.
