Forever the joker that Dwayne Johnson, as he introduces the raucous new trailer for Baywatch, the R-rated take on the classic TV show which made stars out of Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff.

Already tagged as ‘the Avengers of the beach’, we’re given a further tease of the gross-out banter shared between Johnson’s Mitch Bucahannon and Efron’s new recruit Matt Brody, as they look to expose a criminal plot that may just involve Priyanka Chopra’s glamorous Victoria Leeds.

If we thought that director Seth Gordon’s (Horrible Bosses) take on the material was of a similar foul-mouthed buddy comedy vein to 21 Jump Street before, this latest tease enforces that belief whilst solidifying Baywatch may turn out far better than it has any real right to be.

Also starring Alexandra Daddario, Jon Bass and Kelly Rohrback. The film washes up on UK shores on 29th May 2017.
