Spider-Man Could Be Out Of The MCU After Marvel & Sony Dispute
It could be the end of Spider-Man’s MCU journey already.
Variety are reporting that due to issues over financing terms and a producer credit, Sony could pull the plug on it’s deal with Disney’s Marvel Studios.
The report states that if no deal is reached between the studios, Marvel’s Kevin Feige would no longer produce future Spider-Man films, meaning the webslinger and effectively Tom Holland, would not appear in any further MCU movies.
However it may not be as bad as everyone might think, there is still hope a deal could be reached, if Disney can lower their demands of a 50/50 split with Sony for financing future films.
