Surprise Trailer For Cloverfield Sequel Debuts
You can always rely on J.J Abrams to keep a secret project under wraps. With excitable audiences across the world caught up in the hype of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, it’s only fitting that from out of nowhere, the director/producer springs another surprise.
The successful shaky-cam monster movie Cloverfield directed by Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’ Matt Reeves from 2008, finally has a sequel on the way eight years on.
Ditching the found-footage stylistics of its original instalment whilst headed up by John Goodman (soon to be seen in Trumbo) and Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Scott Pilgrim Vs The World), the terrific trailer for 10 Cloverfield Lane is no less intriguing.
Directed by relative unknown Dan Trachtenberg and already confirmed for an 11th March release date in the US, we greatly anticipate a UK release will be soon after.
You can also check out the minimalist yet ominous poster for the film below. Count us in J.J.
