Teaser Trailer For Mike Leigh’s Latest ‘Peterloo’
Throughout his terrific body of work, whether it be Another Year or Happy-Go-Lucky. Director Mike Leigh has always been fond of crafting well-contained character pieces deeply rooted in the working class.
For his latest film ‘Peterloo’ depicting the infamous massacre of 1819 between cavalry and peaceful protestors who demanded democratic reform, there is an undeniable rise in scale and scope as he portrays one of the bloodiest episodes in British history.
Starring Rory Kinnear, Maxine Peake and Nico Mirralegro. The film is released in the UK on 2nd November.
