Teaser Trailer For Shane Black’s ‘The Predator’ Unleashed
Two woeful crossovers with the Aliens franchise in 2004 and 2007. A distinctly underwhelming reboot in 2010 courtesy of Robert Rodriguez. Now eight years on, Iron Man 3 and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang director Shane Black is tasked with restoring order to this particular science fiction franchise, as the first trailer for 20th Century Fox’s ‘The Predator’ debuts.
Moving away from the jungle warfare that was prominent in the early films, we can only blame Room’s Jacob Tremblay for the return of these extra-terrestrial species judging this footage. Also starring Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us), Olivia Munn (X-Men: Apocalypse), Boyd Holbrook (Logan, Trevante Rhodes (Moonlight) and Keegan-Michael Key (Keanu).
The latest instalment arrives in UK cinemas on 14th September.
‘From the outer reaches of space to the small-town streets of suburbia, the hunt comes home in Shane Black’s explosive reinvention of the Predator series. Now, the universe’s most lethal hunters are stronger, smarter and deadlier than ever before, having genetically upgraded themselves with DNA from other species. When a young boy accidentally triggers their return to Earth, only a ragtag crew of ex-soldiers and a disgruntled science teacher can prevent the end of the human race.’
