Tense First Trailer For Tomas Alfredson’s The Snowman
With the acclaimed horror Let The Right One In which spawned an American remake directed by Matt Reeves along with his adaptation of John Le Carre’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, director Tomas Alfredson has proven his worth in crafting meticulous mystery through his tightly-wound narratives.
Judging the sublime first trailer for his latest effort The Snowman starring Michael Fassbender (The Light Between Oceans), Rebecca Ferguson (Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation) and J.K Simmons (Whiplash), this will be no exception.
Based on the terrifying bestseller by Norwegian writer Jo Nesbo, the film’s chilly aesthetic looks to mirrors its grisly plot and title as Fassbender’s detective Harry Hole investigates the disappearance of a woman, that he believes is linked to a notorious serial killer.
Backed by Universal Pictures and Working Title, the film is released on 13th October in the UK.
