Yet away from the tennis court and in cinemas later this year, audiences will be getting an enthralling insight into one of the sport’s greatest rivalries.

Sverrir Gudnason as Bjorn. Shia LaBoeuf as John. The first trailer for Janus Metz’s Borg Vs McEnroe has arrived, as it looks to thrillingly recreate their fierce encounter in the tournament back in 1980.

Borg on the brink of history and riddled with tension, seeking a fifth Wimbledon title. Whilst the motormouth McEnroe at the tender age of 20, looks to dethrone his one-time hero.

Backed by Curzon Artificial Eye and also starring Stellan Skarsgard as Borg’s coach Lennart Bergelin, Borg Vs. McEnroe is released on 22nd September 2017.
