Terrific Debut Trailer For Doug Liman’s ‘American Made’
‘The sky is never the limit…’
He’s all set to launch Universal’s Dark Universe this month (9th June) with The Mummy starring alongside Sofia Boutella and Russell Crowe. But this isn’t the only film the ‘Cruiser is providing us with this year.
Reunited with his Edge Of Tomorrow director Doug Liman, Universal Pictures have released a wonderfully wild first trailer for American Made, based on the true story which sees Tom Cruise’s Barry Seal involved in one of the biggest covert operations in U.S history and rocking quite the array of colourful shirts.
His efficient albeit unorthodox pilot skills capture the attention of Domhnall Gleeson’s (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) Monty Schafer, leading Seal into peddling drugs for infamous Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar in the 1980’s.
Also starring Jesse Plemons (Black Mass) and Sarah Wright (Parks And Recreation), this is already shaping up to reach the giddy heights of Cruise and Liman’s previous collaboration for pure entertainment.
American Made is released on 25th August in the UK.
