“The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” Sets Fan Event!

Peter Jackson (pictured) will unveil new footage from ‘The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug’  at a worldwide fan event on November 4th.

The event will also include interviews with the film’s stars such as Orlando Bloom and Evangeline Lilly. The celebration has been brought together by MGM and New Line and will see Jackson and other cast members gather at satellite-linked cinemas in L.A, London, New York and Wellington to screen the footage and answer questions in front of a live audience.

Richard Armitage (Thorin Oakenshield) and Orlando Bloom (Legolas) are set to appear at the New York City location.

Evangeline Lilly (Tauriel) will attend the Los Angeles event and the London event will see the likes of Luke Evans and Andy Serkis (Gollum).

Peter Jackson will be attending the New Zealand event.
