Winners: 2016 WAFCA Awards

The Washington DC Area Film Critics Association have announced their annual awards, and it’s La La Land that dominated with seven awards including Best Film and Best Director, though Natalie Portman took away Best Actress for Jackie.

Manchester by the Sea won two awards including Best Actor for Casey Affleck and Moonlight found success in just one category, winning supporting actor for Mahershala Ali, who seems to be taking a lead here this season.
