Breaking Bad’s Bob Odenkirk Signs On For Remake Of Little Women
Breaking Bad actor, and Better Call Saul lead, Bob Odenkirk has joined the cast of director Greta Gerwig’s forthcoming adaptation/remake of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel Little Women.
Odenkirk joins a cast which already boasts such high-profile names as Meryl Streep, Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Timothee Chalamet, Laura Dern, Florence Pugh, James Norton, and Eliza Scanlon. Odenkirk and Streep recently both starred in Steven Spielberg’s Oscar-nominated The Post.
Little Women has been adapted to script by Gerwig herself, who is coming off an astounding awards run for Lady Bird, in which Ronan also featured. The feature is currently expected to shoot early next year, and has been slated for the 17th of January, 2020. Bob Odenkirk can currently be seen in the fourth season of AMC’s Better Call Saul.
