EE BAFTAS 2013 Round-Up!
The interweb awash with spoilers before the ceremony was even televised.. Cue traditional grumbles towards the Beeb. However, this didn’t stop this year’s EE British Academy Film Awards from putting on a terrific show.
Hosted once again by the incomparable Stephen Fry, he was in inspired form as he poked fun at The Hobbit (The Hobbit 9: Are We Nearly Home Yet, Gandalf?) and Zero Dark Thirty (I haven’t seen the other 29 installments!) to name a few. The playful nature seemed to transfer into the demeanours of its many esteemed looking presenters. Danny Boyle incorporated a football metaphor, George Clooney saluted the facial hair of lead actors and Samuel L. Jackson was.. well.. Samuel L. Jackson.
As for the winners, there were some ‘tasty’ shocks potentially opening up the field further for the Academy Awards which take place in a mere two weeks time. Whilst the predictability of certain categories reigned supreme once again.. Anne Hathaway and Daniel Day Lewis, we mean you!
Without further ado.. Here’s the list of winners in all their glory!
