Sylvester Stallone Has Quit Expendables 4
After spearheading The Expendables series from the very beginning Sylvester Stallone has departed from the franchise after leaving the fourth film.
According to sources Stallone and producer Avi Lerner have come to many disagreements including over who should direct and elements of the script.
Concerned about the standard of the in-development film Stallone has left the project.
Lerner told Deadline:
“We’ve got disagreements with Sly, but we’ve had them for over a year and a half,” he says. “Right now, each one has an opinion. We agreed on 95% of things, but there are certain things in production we don’t agree on. I don’t think it’s over, but write whatever you want. In my opinion, it’s not dead.”
