Winners: 2017 Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards

It was an anti-climactic night from the make-up artists and hair stylists guild, as the spoils were shared in their annual awards. La La Land and Nocturnal Animals took home a contemporary prize each. Suicide Squad, Star Trek Beyond and Hail, Caesar! won period awards.

If anything, we can probably rule out A Man Called Ove from the Oscar hair and make-up race, as guilds typically overlap with the Academy ballots, and based on the underwhelming response to Suicide Squad we may now have a favourite in this category.
